with one and only Aaron Crow #AaronCrowFearless

Often described as mental artiste extraordinaire or silent mentalist, the Belgian has impressed even the likes of Simon Cowell. I know Simon Cowell as I have seen his show. Aaron Crow was ranked first at the World Champioinships of Magic, the largest competition of its kind that is held every three years. There, he battled against 150 other world renowned acts in front of a 2,500 people.

It was a fun exciting night for us to watch the magic show together with RWG Kids Bloggers, and lifestyle bloggers plus of course my mommy blogger.

Among Aaron's other international achievements were winning World Champion Mentalism at the 2003 Den Haag XXII World Championships and winning the Wizard Trophy (Phemomenon category) last year.

Sunday, March 20, 2016

March School Holidays is almost over , I am very happy because i got invited to Resorts World Genting. Yesterday we wake up early to take taxi to go to Wisma Genting , the bus wait for bloggers at Wisma Genting . We have plenty of fun-filled activities for bloggers-among them, High Tea at the newly opened The Food Factory.

Good news as if you like to have it all, I mean all you can eat. So many food to choose from at The Food Factory, Level 3, First World Plaza.
I took lollipops for myself and for my little brother.
I see many great food in the food factory.
High Tea buffet from March 12 to 20, and on March 26 and 27,1pm to 5pm. The High Tea offers great food at just RM10 nett for children between five and 11 years old , and RM38 nett for adults.

The High Tea buffet offers great  variety, with food presented on separate counters-Western, East Asian, West Asian,Pizza, local delight and drinks.

I took lollipops for myself and for my little brother. You can find this at the counter near the salad and fruits counter.

varieties of pickles

Marshmallow / popcorns and dip in chocholate fountain
My kid blogger friends helping themselves with the fried carrot with XO Sauce.

I like to eat spaghetti with carborana sauce. I eat a few pizza and I eat vanilla ice cream.

Many ice choices to choose from my little brother took chocolate ice cream, I like vanilla flavor.

hot beverage for you to choose.
There is also ice lemon tea, and water available next to the machine. Glasses are available on the side of the table.

The restaurant is named The Food Factory for a good reason. With its concept being to cater for 1,300 diners at any one time, food must be quickly made but served fresh. To deliver this, the restaurant has a few "giant" cooking utensils such as a pancake machine and a pizza conveyer machine - both from the US - and a machine for making fried rice and noodles that was made in Hong Kong.

You can see it for yourself when you go there. We have a good time together at The Food Factory with my kid blogger friends. It's nice mommy blogger gathering time too, my mom is happy to be with her blogger friends.
Having my meal at The Food Factory before going to SnowWorld

What's next? After our meal, we head to SnowWorld! Yes stay tune for my blog post.

Is an Attic Renovation Right for Your Home?

Wednesday, March 2, 2016

If you're looking for a way to increase your home's usable floor space, consider your attic space. An attic renovation is a great way to turn unused space into a functional bedroom, den, playroom or office.

To determine if an attic renovation is right for your home, check your local building codes and access regulations that may impact your building plans and renovation costs.

Building Codes

Local building codes establish important regulations for sound structure and safety in a home renovation. Local building codes vary, so it's important to talk to a local city building inspector who can provide you with a list of applicable codes and required home inspections.

* Ceilings – Typically, an attic renovation for a floor area of 70 square feet requires a minimum ceiling height of 7 feet 6 inches. If your attic has a lower ceiling height, you will not be allowed to turn it into a living space.

* Joists – Talk to your contractor or architect to see if your attic floor joists meet local codes and can support the additional weight of a usable space. You need to make sure that the rafters can support drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC system components, and lighting.

* Egress – Egress codes vary based on the type of room you are adding. For example, a regular bedroom typically requires at least two exits, one window and one doorway. An attic bedroom requires both a window and a staircase to the lower level with an escape ladder in clear view.

Access to the Attic

An attic renovation requires a standard staircase that meets local building code regulations. A ladder is not sufficient. Adding a staircase to your attic will take up space in a room below the attic, so think about using a closet space. You can regain the storage and closet space by adding a new closet under the staircase when it's finished.

Staircases with straight runs are the easiest to build, but they take up the most space, typically 40 to 50 square feet. Spiral staircases take up the least amount of space, but they are usually more expensive to build. If you have limited inside space, consider building an exterior staircase, but check with your local zoning department first. In some cases, an exterior staircase can change your zoning requirements to a multi-family dwelling. For more information, get a quote here.
