Train them young while you still can

I feel that it is good to train the children young while you still can. Imagine if they are older and not willing to listen to you anymore. Well some perhaps not all of them.

I trained my 8 year old to wash his school shoes so he knows how to do it by himself. I told him to bring up clothes he needs to change after shower.

I haven't teach him on packing clothes, I think it will be good idea to do so. This way he knows what he needs to pack to the destination, and of course how many days he gonna stay over.

Expensive Transformers toy in Hatyai

If you are going to Hatyai don't other to shop for Transformers toys. They are very expensive there and yes it is more expensive than in Malaysia. We saw the exact toy in a shopping more and in Malaysia cost RM110 but in Hatyai would be RM170 after converting! So you do the calculating!

We didn't purchase any from there.

Children interest in toys not studies

Have you ever concern of your children? Like he's more interested in toys and games rather than studies?

I feel they need to have a balance for both, don't leave out the important to outdoor activities.


 

Omega Fish Oil helped children to concerntrate in studies?

I don't know of this but a friend just told me that Omega Fish Oil helped. Have you try this before? I only giving son to eat the Scotts orange flavor.

I teach him revision on exam and find that he cannot concentrate on studies.

Esse Gives Back 2013

 

 

Esse Gives Back is a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The event encourages children all over the world to participate by creating an artwork about nature. These amazing young artists, ages from 3 to 16 years old, painted their love for nature into these artworks. The artworks are submitted from as far away as USA and South Africa, to Hong Kong, China, Australia, Singapore and also from Malaysia.

All the artworks are painted by children, for children. The proceeds from sales of the artwork will be donated to SHELTER – Home for Children in Malaysia. SHELTER is a registered welfare organization in Malaysia that has been in existence since 1981 to help abused, abandoned, neglected or at-risk children. They provide care and education to them and raise public awareness on issues such child abuse and child protection.

Teachers rejected gifts

Sad to inform you that the teachers from his class rejected his gifts for teachers. Yeah they find that the gift are cheap which not good enough for the teachers that are teaching him. Oh well, this is sad to see this happen to him.

Don't know what to say...

Apparently the teachers saw his gift and rejected him, saying that are just flowers nothing good for them. Oh well, I hope they are not blind because attached to the flowers are pens!

Teachers only received the gifts which are nicely wrapped in a box! That's what he told me.

Mom & Son look alike shirts

I am happy to say a contest recently I won gave me chance to wear look a like shirts with my son. Oh well both same colours, I think that's great for us.

I can't wait to let him try on the shirt. Yesterday son slept late as he's watching Monster movie. :D

He had supper as daddy home's late with a cake! Yeah Happy Belated Mother's Day to me, he bought me big cake! Oh well, it son's favourite cheese flavor.

Missing mechanical pencils, colour pencils, glue sticks

I can say that late Sean is very clumsy, he lost of mechanical pencils, colour pencils, erasers, and glue sticks. Well I have always provide him one mechanical pencils, twelve colour pencils, one eraser, one glue stick and one pair of scissor!

I always need to purchase the stationery because he's losing them often. I have put label with his name and class room but sad to say nobody ever return them! I don't know why some classmate in his class likes to take his belongings. He fear to tell teacher because the classmate will treat him bad.

What do you do about? Some parents say nevermind they are just stationery. Some parents do mind because got classmate took home her son's colour pencil box and inform teacher only the classmate will return next day. Yeah the classmate that took other people belonging always tell, never take it back or take it. Teacher's know about the children character after months of teaching them in class.

Aeon Big Subang Jaya

I know so many brandning when comes to stationery, I went to AEON Big Subang Jaya just now. I take a look at their stationery, sad to say not many choices when comes to mechanical pencils. They are lack of 2.0 mechanical pencils and 0.7 mechanical pencil. I saw a great deal on 0.5 mechanical pencils but sad to say that's not what I want.

Anyway I will be browsing more shops if I get the chance.

Two injections for son

Yeah today is the day he gets two injection, he says its more painful on the left side than the right side. Anyway he falls asleep this evening pretty quickly after he complains of itchy on the left side after the injection. He says his class only one girl is crying, the rest nobody crying. His friend MW says to his mom that the injection is pain but he didn't cry. Another friend AI just shaking before injection because he's the last to go for injection.

He didn't change back the school uniform only wearing the PE shirt for the day. They have Ejaan today and some homeworks he need to complete by tomorrow. He finished them but some mistakes he need to correct tomorrow.

Dinosaur toy for son

Here goes another collection for son it is a dinosaur toy, he has many dinosaur toys but he didn't have them all. He wants to have another species, not sure of the name anyway he grab one from Daiso. I know many toys available in Daiso, do you like to shop in Daiso?

I bought something for myself too, also 40 pcs of clothes pin to pin clothes under the sun.

Everything price at RM5 in the shop, ended up RM35 in a day spent.

Mommies send food to children in school

Some mommies are fantastic they send food to school, yeah I mean they will go to school and wait for their children to come out from canteen then give food container to them. Then they will be there to wait for the children finished the food and if they have older children they need to wait another session of children to go canteen again. Yeah not easy being mom.

Sean request me to do so but sad to say I am not free. He feels jealous seeing other mom sending food to school.

It's not going to be easy because need to be there an hour early to find parking, if go late there will be no parking space available. Yeah imagine 50 mommies there then there will be 50 cars?!

 

Friday is here

1. Right now I'm waiting to go dinner with family, steamboat in Sunway.
2. Quick is my well known quirk.
3. Are you having rice for dinner_?
4. Think first, then can purchase!
5. That's why money matter.
6. Friends_ is one of my favorite tv shows ever!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dine with family and friends, tomorrow my plans include seeing my dad and Sunday, I want to see brother-in-law!

Boys love swords?

Yeah after Sean watched the movie Jack the Giant Slayer, he's like to play with sword. Yeah don't you think movie can influence children? Anyway we need to watch them and explain to them that swords are dangerous.

Toy swords I would check if it is safe to play, if it is broken I just throw it away.

Milk powder for children

Some friends told me that milk powder with dha matters, they do give their children benefit. I don't know about that as some brand milk powder too expensive.

I know my budget I seldom purchase expensive milk powder for children. Do you think expensive milk powder make children smarter?

Giant digged nose*Jack the Giant Slayer

Sean is happy go watch this movie, the dirty giant digged nose and eat it! Yeah that is digusting. The giant also rubbed his under arm and smells it!

He loves the part where the two heads giant died, it is when Jack throw inside his throat a bean! It is nice movie for parents and children to watch together.

However they are many death in the movie, some people may not like it.

Chinese spelling 70 mark

I don't expect my son to get 100 mark all the time in spelling, I am just angry because he told me the boys in class disturb him until he lost track of spelling.

Today i went to his class and saw the boys, amazing they can finished their homework fast thats why they have the time to disturb others to do homework. It is madness, i don't know how the teacher able to control them to get them listen in class.

You never feel a second safe in class because the boys are mentally torturing my son. They kept calling him fat boy, so what he is fat but he is taller than them.

No mom wants to say their kid is bad, sadly if the is well behave you think anyone would want say the kid is bad?

Looking for suitable sharpener

I am happy that mother-in-law given me a spare sharpener, she kept it for many years. Now I have got two sharpeners that can use for sharpen pencils and colour pencils. I need to knock it sometimes because the tip of pencils stucked inside!

With sharpener it does give my life easier without need of sharpen using my hands. Imagine I need to sharpen five or ten pencils a day, every day I need to check his pencil box. I am shocked to know his classmates took his pencils and classmate pencils to use without his permission. Yes gangster or bully in class, the children only 7 year old!
