Teens Tour Guide Holiday Program by Johan Speaking Academy @KL TOWER MINI ZOO

It's Saturday that I attended the Teens Tour Guide Holiday Program at TTDI at Johan Speaking Academy. The day where I prepared myself to learn more and there's team building involved. Usually my Saturday has the tuition classes at tuition centre, I am glad that there's time off for me to learn more this school holidays. I like to go Johan Speaking Academy because I can learn different program every time and can stand on stage for kids public speaking.

There are animals that I need to know about their habitat of where they are from, and what they eat. Not just that because I need to speak to tourist and also explain about the animal, do you know that there's few types of parrots available at KL Tower Mini Zoo.

At the entrance of KL Tower Mini Zoo the parrots are bigger than the ones in inside. No worry as there's staff there as well that will explain which parrots suitable for younger children to handle. Animals that I got to share about their animal habitat to the tourists are African Grey Parrot, dusky wallaby, legless lizard that looks like a snake, ferret, milipede, Malayan Porcupine, Eclectus parrot. It's good that we have different types of animals to know and to talk to tourist about these animal habitat. I always like to know more about animal because they are so many of them, you can see video below on my speech I share with you about few of my favourite animals.

When arrival at the KL TOWER MINI ZOO, I have gathered with my friends at entrance. They also take part in the Teens Tour Guide holiday program. I also know of new friends in this kids public speaking, first time to meet with school mates as well.

I would like to go Johan Speaking Academy again because teachers Johan and Cherry are friendly and they have patience teaching kids public speaking.

Hot Wheels Fans, yes I am!

The day I went to tuition for BM and Science which is clashed the event that my mom told me at Sunway Pyramid about Hot Wheels. Yeah I and my little brother are fans of Hot Wheels, sadly he too cannot make it with my mom for this kids event because he has got Kindergarten to attend.

It's Deepavali today, here to wish all my friends and family members Happy Diwali.

Kids Tour Guide of Johan Speaking Academy

It's beautiful Sunday, early morning I woke up to prepare myself as I am ready for the Kids Tour Guide at Farm In The City. On Saturday I supposed to go tuition but my mom told tuition teacher that I will be attending the Kids Tour Guide program at Johan Speaking Academy located at TTDI. So I have done the test at tuition center on Friday. It's the day where we get to know the task for next day. It's a fun workshop as I get to know new friends and met old friends too.

 Yes, I am ready with my friends as Kids Tour Guide. You can see we are in blue shirt of Johan Speaking Academy except me because I am BIG. There's pink color shirts for the girls, while blue  color shirts for the boys.

 On Sunday, its the day that we need to be Kids Tour Guide. So the tour guide of Farm In The City give us a tour at the farm. We need to take note of type of turtle that we need to talk about and recognize the species of animals. The tortoise and turtle farm, the place where we get to see giant tortoise.

 The last time we went to Farm In The City was in year 2014. I am happy and glad to be back and there are so many animals to see there. As a Kid Tour Guide, my team has another 3 members. We have to speak of two or one animal each person. I talked about Ostrich and Goat to tourist. As for my friends, they talked about the types of turtles.

yeah , as you know I joined the Kids Tasty Speech and now is the Kids Tour Guide. What's next? Stay tune on my blog to find out. When you think of besides tuition and daily going to school. Farm In The City, is a good place to see many types of animal. There's pet village, exhibition hall, bird aviary and many more. Raccoon feeding is one of my favourite as I get to share the feeding with my little brother. There's machine of food for animal and we need to insert money in the machine to get the token. RM2 is equal two token for a pack of animal food.

Indoor Playland@The Starling Mall

 June School Holidays is about to end, tomorrow is another Public Holiday. I still have tuition Math in the morning from 9am to 10.30am. Then we plan to go for a haircut yeah with my little brother and my dad together.

Yesterday I spend family time with my mom and little brother in the Starling Mall playland. It is located at the uptown Damansara.

 Check out the video where we have a good time to slide on the mini slide. My mom first time to be on the slide in the indoor playland. She never play any slide in the indoor playland in Selangor.

 It's purple sand art fun time for us, making so many shapes and also getting the creating shapes that we can make together.

Before we enter the playland, we saw the cute animal ride infront of the entrance. My little bro and me sat on one each of us. I sat on the Chicken and I didn't see there's black metal behind the paddle. My leg got injured badly and I scream of pain asking my mom to give me plasters. I then asked for another plaster because I want to double plastered the area.

 Despite the pain, I played slowly in the playland and enjoy myself. Below is the photo of the injury taken when we reached home as I want to change plaster.

I was saying ouch so loud next to the counter, and nobody come to assist me. :(

Just be aware when you are going on the ride on the animal. The black metal didn't have a cover on it at all. 

The Parenthood playtime with my little brother

 This October is fun, last month I went to The Parenthood with my mom. I am so happy that my little brother and me can go again, it's on Monday we went as we have finished our homework then mom suggests that we go to indoor playground at Sunway Pyramid.

 We go together on each level, there 3rd level I was afraid and never try but I am glad that my little brother went together. We have a good time together there, we sweat a lot.

I have tuition classes to attend on Wed to Friday, so my mom knows that I can only go Mon or Tue.

 The big slide you can see the video above, we have good time going many times. Next time I want my mom to follow us up there to slide down. I saw some daddy and mommy sit the slide with their children.

Look at the colorful slides, there's big slide and small slides for younger children. It's final exam that I am having and happy that my mom takes time out to take us go this fun playground. We shall go again, we love to play and enjoy ourselves.

Study hard, play hard.

Good afternoon everybody , last month I have reviewed the Transformer Combiner War Menasor.You can read about this in my mom blog. I like six of them because i can combine them into one toy.
 I like the weapons on each on them, Break neck ,Dead end , Black jack,Black strip,and i forgot some of the names.My little brother Wei Lin likes black strip. He think its a racing car.

Jump Smash e-tournament with my mom

It is amazing and fun, I didn't want to go for the final but my dad says since I got my winning ticket to enter the final e-tournament for Jump Smash, he encourages me to go ahead.

Since I am all alone as my aunt didn't win the ticket to join the final tournament, I wanted to have someone accompany me. I ask mom to try playing the Jump Smash 15.

Amazingly she didn't give up and keep trying and trying like other auntie and uncle that I saw queue up again and again. Not just adults but also kids and teenagers too.

We have heart beating moment as we need to compete with each other after the first round. The first round we both win compete with others. This second round we need to compete one another.

Yeah, that's my mom you are looking at the picture with me to compete.

Only one of us can win!

Hehe.. I make it to the Quarter Final!

But sadly I lose my battle with another boy.

I didn't lose hope as at least I have compete in this gaming with 31 others contestants.

Jump Smash 15 is a fun game app indeed, I came home and wanted to play again with my mom. I know studies are important but it was Sunday so we have a family outing to Sunway Pyramid to attend this fun public event.

A visit to PD Ostrich Farm in Port Dickson

This is how closed I can get to feed the ostrich, it's big bird with lots of feathers. My parents and brought me to go because my little brother is not feeling well. 

This is fun day for me though I sweat a lot, I learn alot about animals.

Example on how to feed them with the grass, how to hold the grass. 

I also had my finger injury because of the sharp grass.

We saw chickens on the loose too.

Feeding time we can feed rabbit and geniue pig. We bought 2 packets of pet food each packet cost RM3.

There are many rabbits on the ground that we can feed. Beside that they have cats and dogs but we need to pay extra to visit them. The sales girl say we can even bring the dog out for a walk. She says there are 40 pure breeds of dogs.

Yummy ostrich burger I had at the farm, RM24 for this processed meat burger of ostrich. 

A day before we head to the Ostrick Farm, my parents bring me and my little brother to PD beach.

My mom and I caught a few baby crabs, but my little brother is afraid, he says they are spiders.

So many crabs on the loose on the sands, but they are fast in getting in the sands too. Not easy to catch them. My mom and me use beach toys to scoop them one at a time.

KidZania and field trip

Next year I'll be Standard Three, so there's more study to do. Anyway this school holiday I am looking forward for KidZania and field trip.

I have been to KidZania Kuala Lumpur and I love it. I wanna go again to play around. The last trip was few months back with my family. The latest I didn't go as I was busy, so my little brother and mommy went, you may click on the link above to read more.

Mommy won some passes to go KidZania, I am waiting for them to arrive so I can set a date to go with mommy.

Teacher called me Red Apple

Teacher called me red apple because I have face look like apple, not really. Is just that my face would turn red is I feel hot. Even my ears will turn red, everyone in class started calling me red apple too. I don't mind as I do like to eat apple, it is healthy fruit.

Fruits are important sometimes I didn't eat, I find it hard to go restroom. I would tell my mom, I am not ready yet because I am still in restroom. When I was young I dislike vegetables, now I do eat vegetables but not all types of vegetables.

Now not only one teacher called me red apple, but many teachers too. I am standard two this year, next year my little brother going to kindergarten.

Brain activities center for kids

Being parent I am sure we want to have the best for our children, do you there's brain activities center for children? They have like left brain/right brain, which will give children to do assessment etc. 

Anyway it's not cheap to have children attend this classes. 

One of my son's classmate, he didn't go for this classes but he enrolled for English center. They are not cheap too, the course is expensive but they have told the parents if they didn't achieve the result they can attend again the same level for free. Indeed, her children gets to attend for free until they have pass the level.

As for the brain activities center, I am not sure if they have such guarantee for parent. 

What do you think? 

I feel that best brain activities for children are sports, that's where they can sweat it out and have a good health at the same time. 

Son asking for Xbox or PS4 games

This is unexpected, son told his dad that he wants to play Xbox games or PS4 games. We don't own any console of these games. I didn't encourage him to play any of them, since it's enough having just Ipad to play. Son complains that my computer is old and slow that's why he cannot play the games.

Anyway I told him that's he's no good with exam results, it's better he forget about playing these expensive games. If he's result is good and being A students like his friend, I am sure he can be like them to play whatever games they prefer. No kidding, his classmate not having just good grades but also good in playing games. Well, I don't think anyone is born genius, his classmate must be good in organizing their times to play and study well.

It's not fair to put them see who is smarter and who's not, I just want the best for my son. I don't him to tired out playing games, sports are more healthy and sweat for good!

Godzilla 2014

It's going to be special night as I'm going to bring my son for a movie. We gonna watch Godzilla 2014.

This weekend we'll continue with the revision for exam, though friend share me on free movie for weekend. But I think it's best to revise at home since we are going for movie tonight, there's no need to watch twice of movies in a week.

It's not the same movie, but I prefer him to study at home. It's never easy to teach him, he's getting lazy and harder to teach. 

Farm In The City, Seri Kembangan

Farm In The City at Seri Kembangan is worth going if you are planning to go with children. It's fun educational place for them too, no kidding they get to touch and feed the animal. But of course not dangerous animal.

Though most people may find the ticket price expensive, if you don't have to travel by ferry or plane to the place. Don't you think it's worth it?

Movies for him

I bought some books from Popular hoping to teach him and guide him to do. Sadly he's lazy not willing to do more than two pages. My friend told me that her hubby is the one guiding her kids in education, in fact last minute teaching them, they can still get flying colours.

Anyway son request to watch his favourite movie, Captain America, Rio 2, and more in future.

His exam result is not very good, though I know he's not the best in class and not the worst in class. I hope he understand that education each level and exam will be getting tougher and tougher.

My nephew was here for the education fair, his first interest to check out Nothingham in Malaysia. Good choice for him, but not sure if his parents can afford him on this education or not.

There's always best, 2nd best, 3rd best. We still need keep some money for emergency.

I fear my children education when time comes, the price ...

Son wants reward for good mark

He told me that he gets 80 marks for spelling. He asked if there's any reward for it. Yesterday I bumped into his classmate's mom and found out that her son is getting 100 mark for every spelling, that's because her hubby reward him RM100 for each 100 marks get. Ahhh.... I can't afford that.. if it happen to me.

Do you think it is good to reward children with money if they gets good result in exam/spelling?

What's on your mind?

One mom told me, it is one way her son is saving money to purchase his favourite toys. 

PC Lego games

Last Saturday, while I am away hubby bring son to a mall where he bought him Lego CD for computer games. The Acer notebook which is very old cannot use for the CD games so he used mine instead.

He even bought a controller for him just to play it. The controller cost around RM30.

I hope son's not just playing PC games but excel in his education too.

Angry Birds Go! Telepods

I don't know of this until son told me, well they are selling in Toys R US. RM24.90 each, it was his birthday and he chosen Angry Birds Go! Telepods. I thought it will not work at all, but it working and can play.

Wow I don't know they have many designs to choose from.

Expensive field trip for son

I can't believe it but he's going for field trip tomorrow with his classmates. Oh well too bad mom can't tag along. I feel sad, why is it here not like other country we can just tag along with children field trip. Saw my friend in other country their children's field trip, they get to go along.

It will be along day for him, I only pick him up at 6pm. He would be arriving at center 7am before 7.20am because 7.30am the bus there to pick them up.

I wanted to have vacation to Kuching, Sarawak then again. $$$

Final examination week

He's having exam this week, so I don't bring him to any movie. I would check on schedule of movie next week or during school holiday. We'll see as depend on the timing of movie.

The school holiday intensive class, I found one but it would be a month for him. It's expensive class, talk of RM600 for this class! It's Mon to Friday 1.30pm-4.30pm. Yeah that means I will be tight up to him as well, can't go anywhere this school holiday.

Let's where else has got the holiday intensive class, I would prefer for him to learn Malay subject because he's poor in this subject.
