Teens Tour Guide Holiday Program by Johan Speaking Academy @KL TOWER MINI ZOO

It's Saturday that I attended the Teens Tour Guide Holiday Program at TTDI at Johan Speaking Academy. The day where I prepared myself to learn more and there's team building involved. Usually my Saturday has the tuition classes at tuition centre, I am glad that there's time off for me to learn more this school holidays. I like to go Johan Speaking Academy because I can learn different program every time and can stand on stage for kids public speaking.

There are animals that I need to know about their habitat of where they are from, and what they eat. Not just that because I need to speak to tourist and also explain about the animal, do you know that there's few types of parrots available at KL Tower Mini Zoo.

At the entrance of KL Tower Mini Zoo the parrots are bigger than the ones in inside. No worry as there's staff there as well that will explain which parrots suitable for younger children to handle. Animals that I got to share about their animal habitat to the tourists are African Grey Parrot, dusky wallaby, legless lizard that looks like a snake, ferret, milipede, Malayan Porcupine, Eclectus parrot. It's good that we have different types of animals to know and to talk to tourist about these animal habitat. I always like to know more about animal because they are so many of them, you can see video below on my speech I share with you about few of my favourite animals.

When arrival at the KL TOWER MINI ZOO, I have gathered with my friends at entrance. They also take part in the Teens Tour Guide holiday program. I also know of new friends in this kids public speaking, first time to meet with school mates as well.

I would like to go Johan Speaking Academy again because teachers Johan and Cherry are friendly and they have patience teaching kids public speaking.

Good afternoon, I came back from school just now and soon I be going to tuition. I like to share with you last weekend where I go. Just to let you know last year I attended the Kids Public Speaking workshop at TTDI. You can read the blog post about it. It was my first time to attend the workshop of English language Kids Public Speaking, I also attended the Mandarin language Kids Public Speaking.

It's been a year since I attended the Kids Public Speaking workshop and happy that my mom have signed me up for the Kids Tasty Speech, I love food and I like to talk about food. Below is my video about my speech, pardon me as I was thirsty while having my speech so I say I wanted to drink water.

Besides going to tuition, its good that I take part on other activities that suitable for kid like me.It's fun learning sessions with other kids and I make new friends too at the workshop. We also get real experience besides taking orders from parents but also customers of the Luscious by Lisa T.

It's a two days workshop, so 1st day is attend the Kids Tasty Speech class at TTDI. The photos here are taken at the 2nd day of workshop where the Kids Tasty Speech take part at Luscious by Lisa T at Plaza Mont Kiara.

It's fun learning workshop as usually I follow my parents to go restaurant to order food, there's only paper and pen we have to self service looking at the menu to order the food. There's no explanation on the food and drinks or other food suggestions by waiter or waitress.

I am happy to be part of the Kids Tasty Speech, good experience and fun learning at the same time.

I WANT TO BE WILDLIFE HEROES!

Let's take part in this Wildlife Heroes campaign, I have taken part and above is my video. I am not sure if I get to be selected or not, but at least I try. Sunway Theme Parks is on a lookout for junior heroes between the age of seven to 12 years old to form a wildlife council to learn together; at the same time, to develop knowledge and affection; leading to a lifelong love for both wildlife and nature.

The two theme parks (Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World Of Tambun) under Sunway Theme Parks will be hosting its inaugural Wildlife Heroes campaign, the first ever wildlife programme in Asia comprising entirely of kids!

The mission is to allow children to immerse themselves with the animal and nature world in ways that are entertaining, interactive and enriching, in a wonderfully controlled and safe environment.

Selected candidates will get an experience of a lifetime of nature’s best in Sunway Lost World Of Tambun, a theme park set amidst lush greens, caves, hot springs and limestone hills of over 400 million years old; while on the other hand, in Sunway Lagoon, they will experience the wild with over 150 species of animals from around the world in the middle of concrete jungle, Klang Valley. With that, the junior heroes are able to experience the best of both worlds. 

Interested candidates are required to submit a 2 to 3-minute long video with a brief introduction of themselves and why they should be selected as a Wildlife Hero to www.sunwaythemeparks.com/wildlife-heroes by 11th August 2017, 6:00pm

Ten shortlisted finalists will be contacted via email by 15th August 2017 to attend the first ‘council’ meeting that will be held at LWOT in late August. It will be a 3D2N stay filled with exciting challenges and tasks. Selected candidates will walk home with cash prizes of more than RM80,000!
