Genting International's Children's Festival

Tuesday, June 9, 2015

It's June's School Holiday, I have always asked my mom and dad where are we going during school holidays. I am happy that I am selected as Resorts World Genting Young Blogger, I am on one of the six bloggers going to Genting Highland with our parents.

Last Friday morning, my mom wakes up 5 o'clock in the morning. My mom wakes me up at 5.30 in the morning. Morning, my dad brings us for breakfast at Mcdonalds then send us to 1 Utama to buy bus tickets  and cable car tickets. My dad goes back his office and join  mom and me at night.  We reached  at 9.30 in the morning.

Last Friday morning, over two hundred special children from Kuala Lumpur and Klang were invited to attend the launch of Genting International Children’s Festival. The children between 3 and 15 years old from homes namely AnbeSivam, Rainbow, Good Samaritan, Rumah Victory, Agathians Shelter and Persatuan Kanak-kanak istimewa Hulu Langat woke up early to go to the resort as a string of program awaits them.
The Genting International's Children's Festival, to be held till June 14, promises a whole range of activities that are sure to keep the young ones happy, from stage performances to movie screenings, to magic workshops.

I am with six young bloggers, they are also selected as Resorts World Genting Young Bloggers and Ambassadors.

I am one of the six participated in the Resorts's call for young bloggers.

The launch also saw six young bloggers being pinned as Resorts World Genting Young Bloggers and Ambassadors. The six participated in the Resort’s call for young bloggers ages between 8 and
15. As RWG Young Bloggers and Ambassadors, we get exclusive invitations to review the many
events at the Resort. This includes stay, food and beverage plus shows, theme park events and activities.

The event continued with shows that include dinosaurs, clowns, jugglers and stilt dancers amongst the colourful characters that add merriment to the occasion.

The baby dinosaurs are so cute, I am sure if my little brother comes along he'll be very happy and excited to see them.

The Land of Art where we can decorate own ice-cream at the ice cream booth. It's so fun just look around everyone's creating their cute ice cream.

At the Creativity & Dream Discovery Zone, they get to paint the castle and town, and participate in board games.
After eating ice cream, we go to stage to see performance.

I have got my yellow balloon sword from the Mr Clown.

Next stop the group adjourned to the Fox Movie Screening at Horizon 50, First World Convention Centre where kids and parents alike get to enjoy movies such as Rio, Nico & Pedro, and Blue & Jewel daily from noon to 8 pm.
Like the title suggests, we can meet and greet our favorite Fox character here too.

After take photo with Rio and Pedro, we go to watch Rio movie.
Next stop the group adjourned to the Dinosaur Land at Rainforest, First World Hotel Lobby where more magical hours unfold. We were greeted by five “dinosaurs”, and were entertained by the BatteryHeads Percussion group.

I am happy to go attend Genting International's Children's Festival. I am happy to become one of the Resorts World Genting Young Bloggers and Ambassadors.
Thank you Resorts World Genting, and also special thanks to Ronald for bringing us all around. Thank you for helping us to arrange to watch the Iluminate show, I have fun all day long.

The night never ends as my dad came in the night, next day after breakfast we go to play station on our own.
